Keg at Pig’s Ear Richmond as ’Blue Point Lager’, 5.5%. Clear dark amber, still, small diminishing beige head. Aroma is caramel wafer, toffee, caramelised sugars, raisin bread. Body is fairly light with tingly carbonation. Taste is toffee, sweet sugary malts, pungent caramel, crisp finish. Carbonation cuts through the sweetness, and most of the flavour. Too carbonated but not grating. Quite good for an AB InBev product. Vestlake (279) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - SEP 22, 2016
12 oz bottle. Amber color with an okay head. Floral hop aroma along with a little toasted malt. The flavor was okay. I expected more of the toasted malt to come through but I got mostly floral hops. tfontana (953) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 20, 2016
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is clear, light copper with nice sparkle, finger-width beige fizzy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is toast, light caramel, biscuit. Taste is toast, light caramel, cracker with light bitter ending. Palate is light bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, the toasted quality is nice and the hop presence adds bitterness rather than any flavor. It’s fine but nothing noteworthy. jsporrer (982) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2016
Pours a light caramel - orange with a thin white head. Light aroma. Fairly simple flavors that are not that remarkable. Not bad but just not that good. dlovell2 (2091) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - SEP 14, 2016
On tap at Nats Park. Pours amber with white head. Aroma is caramel and toasted malt. Flavor is caramel malt with toasted and nutty flavors. Enjoyable.

Scents of bread and yeast. Pours a brown gold with a rocky fast disipating head. Some lacing. Balanced tastes of bread, yeast and leather. Slightly sour hoppy finish. Very drinkable. ads135 (4587) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 5, 2016
A pretty solid lager. Light and crisp with a better than decent body. Tried at the Great Nebraska Beerfest with Jess in 2016. drjay44 (3680) - Salida, Colorado, USA - SEP 3, 2016
Draft. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, well retained, ivory head, with extensive lacing, over a clear, light copper (SRM 16) body......nose is moderate toasted malts, with cracker, biscuit tones, toffee hints, minimal hops, balance to the malts......taste is mildly sweet with cracker, biscuit, toast from the malts, finishing with mild lightly spicy hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light of medium body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a pleasant, clean, refreshing, not particularly complex beer, that is more of a Lager than an Ale. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7 Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2016
On tap. Darkish amber with a thin head. Very caramelly, toasted and varnish-y. Kind of a nutty oiliness to the taste especially, like walnut or hazelnut. Pretty good on the whole. HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - AUG 29, 2016
A- Grains, cereal.
