COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2013 Poured with a huge frothy head and a nice amber color. The aroma of hops. Very smooth drinking and clean as a good lager should be, but in the middle to finish I felt it was lacking body and felt a little watery. 6/2/13 re-rate. The lack of body in the middle and finish that I found in my first go round w/ this brew didn’t bother me this time. I found this to be a very smooth and drinkable beer that doesn’t overwhelm, but is a great drinker!

Bottle from Saveur Bière.com. Golden color, white head. Toasted grain, some smoke, drinkable lager.... Ok

Was not aware that this was a US beer as we got this in an Irish Pub in Birmingham. A good refreshing Lager with a spectrum of different tastes, that is extremely drinkable, tasty and varied. A real recommendation.

From Apr 2007 This pours from 12oz bottle(best by June 2007) a clear amber with a huge head of foam that shrinks fairly quickly leaving a fine broken layer with some lacing. The smell has a big nose of sweet malt and has a bit of a fruity note to it. The taste on first sip has a caramel malt flavour with some hop bitterness in the background to take the edge off the sweetness. Further sips in and I'm getting just a wee touch of spice...I'd call it cinnamon. There's also some graininess and a bit of tartness. The mouthfeel is on the light side and tends to be watery at times but the flavours keep me interested enough to make me kind of over look that negative. The finish is somewhat biscuity and ends slightly on the bitter side. This is pretty good stuff. Bottom line: I like this Amber Lager and I thank jwc215 for including this in our trade!

Can, on the airplane. Light brown colour, thin head. Aroma is much more caramelly than toasty. Same thing on the palate...it's really a sweet, caramelly lager, and that's it.

Lettere toasted, lettere karameliseret.

Bottle. Amber gold, thin short lived white head and gentle condition. Slightly malty nose with a hint of burnt toffee and biscuits, full bodied and malty in the mouth, with a slight melanoidin note but developing a tingle of peppery bitterness that becomes quite dry. Finish has low malt and hint of burnt toffee, and a slightly estery afternote.

From a tall boy into a glass. This one isn't too interesting, but its not the worst thing either. It has a vaguely sweet frat basement aroma and looks a darkish amber with a thin head. It tastes like a thin amber ale, some throat yakk, and a bit of sugar, but nothing too overwhelming in any direction. Good for a poopy monday of hanging in the refrigerated b-room wit yo boom boom.

5/10/16 Highly carbonated. Crisp and dry. Nothing stand out just a well-balanced solid lager. This would be easy to drink one after the other all night ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap, ADT. Clear copper with a medium off-white head. Sweet malt, toasted bread, mild citrus hops. Light bodied with a smooth balanced finish. Pleasant easy drinking.
