Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

Not much toastiness in taste or smell. Very sweet front and lot of bittering hops. Not great

Amber ale with a lot of carbonation. There are hints of caramel notes and roasted flavour

dlihcsnatas (822) - Temple, Texas, USA - DEC 22, 2017
Good looking light amber brew with a slightly roasted and very malty flavor. Not bad for a lager and it came all the way from NY in a bottle like a real beer should.

Benters (144) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2017
Pours a clear amber with average carbonation. Aromas of lightly roasted malts, some caramel and hint of hops. Taste is malt forward, a really nice malt sweetness with toasted flavours, caramel and a slight smokiness. Very crisp and easy drinking, hops balance the sweetness of the beer but are very much playing a secondary role. Enjoyable Vienna-style lager.

Bottle from the Beer Hawk advent calendar. Smooth, malty, fudge and caramel notes. Easy drinking but a little too buttery on the palate for me.

lokis333 (619) - Biržai, LITHUANIA - DEC 13, 2017
Clear copper colour with medium slightly off-white foam. Aromas of light caramel and biscuit malts with a bready and warm slice of toast with a chunk of butter on it notes. Palate, medium/light body with slick texture leaving nice long malty finish. Taste, sweet of caramel and light lager malts with a touch of bread and grains. Overall, rather nice, easy going and tasty amber lager. Enjoyable.

Loved this one, like a grown up Budweiser. Could very easily sink a fair few of these bad boys. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
