oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 24, 2006
Bottled. Ruby red, not much head. Grassy, hoppy nose with ryeish and fruity notes. Also some weak barnyardish notes can be found. Strong grassy malty and hoppy flavour with some spicy hints. Quite watery palate after all the different stronger ABV stuff. Good for a 4,5% though.

Leighton (22812) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2010
Bottle. Pours a rich amber, clear, with a weak, white head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel, toffee and fruits. Sweet flavor with a prominent malt character and notes of toasted bread, cinnamon, dark fruit and caramel. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet and quite malty with only faint bitterness. About average.

Amber color with a nice creamy offwhite head. Malty aroma, some hops, a bit creamy. Flavor is bitter, but also brings malts and nuts.

TBone (18552) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 22, 2006
Bottled (BB 04/2006)
Clear ruby red color, small off-white head. Rye-malty aroma with some barnyardish notes. Malty, a bit hoppy too. Good palate for a 4.5% brew. Balanced, solid but a bit boring beer.

2.9
MiP (16054) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 19, 2010
Bottle. Malty aroma, slightly vinous or oxidised. Dark red brown colour, seems clear. Good stable tan head. The flavour is also vinous and oxidised. OK malty and slightly roasted. Subtle creamy aftertaste. OK, I guess, but I am not a fan of oxidised-tasting beers.

3.3
bhensonb (15967) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 22, 2012
Bottle from Liz. Pours ruddy copper with a 3 finger creamy beige head. Aroma of mild roast malt with hints of spice. Flavor is sweet, lightly sweet, roast malt with very interesting chocolate and mild spice aspects. But it’s not an over the top sort of thing.

(12oz bottle, best by 4/06) Crystal clear copper body topped by an off0white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some peach, strawberry. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, strawberry, some earthy, light astringency. Light-medium body.

3.3
j12601 (13298) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2008
Draft at the beechtree. Pours a clear ruby color with a thin off white head. Aromas of malt and spice (nutmeg perhaps?). Thick mouth feel with more malt and a light yeasty finish which gains a nice amounts of hops, and almost cola like notes as the beer warms a little.

3.3

(12oz bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, caramel, and chocolate. Flavor of chocolate, grain, caramel, and earth.
