BB 14-12-13. Poured a clear pale gold colour with a two-finger white foamy head that collapsed quickly and left a few suds as lace. Medium carbonation with small bubbles. Aroma of malt or musty grain. Taste slightly of sweet malt and no real bitterness. Light body bordering on watery. Smooth, soft, light finish. Pretty ordinary. a light bodied, pale lager with a typical Australian lager taste, without the unpleasant amounts of carbonation and unpleasant aftertaste associated with typical mainstream Aussie beers. This is exactly the thing I can see myself drinking on a porch up in Cairns. It’s not the most lager you’ll drink, and certainly not the most exciting beer (it’s really rather forgettable), but for the price it’s a bargain buy for a sweaty, Sunday session.
I feel it delivers exactly what it’s intended to deliver, and it’s inoffensiveness makes it a great beer to have around to offer to guests whose tastes you don’t know. I’m glad beers like this exist.
It is what it is, and I’ll be buying it again. DeliriumT (543) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 26, 2012
Very strawlike aroma. Refreshing bitterness when served cold like all Australian lagers. Quite boring, but good as a session beer. Niallof9 (2) - ALEXANDRA HILLS, AUSTRALIA - OCT 11, 2012 does not count
this lager is typical of the average Australian beer, but slightly better than the average commercial brew. It holds a head well, is gentle on the nose, has a soft palate & not overly or aggressively hopped. It is well gassed, leaves no unpleasant after taste, not heavy on malt flavours but does have a subtle grainy tang on the front of the palate. Generally presents as a refreshing pale amber ale Maris (1572) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 9, 2012
From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2012. Pours a clear yellow with a small head. Has a slight malty, grassy, grainy aroma. Flavour wise, it has a bit of Euro lager character to it, with some bready and grassy malt, and some mild hop action. Not the worst pale lager out there, but entirely unremarkable and quite dull.

Bottle. Possibly the most watery beer ever made. Understandable in the FNQ climate. Nothing objectionable, but no taste either. jdpeebs (686) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2012
330ml bottle- nice golden colour. Slight hop aroma. Nice malt taste. An enjoyable beer. qldbeerman (12) - Fortitude Valley, AUSTRALIA - MAY 29, 2012
A beautiful traditional german lager, has a beautiful full bodied flavour, with floral hallertau hops, and pale munich malts. this beer is very easy drinking with a superb finish. has subtle citrus undertones.
Reminded me of the beers i had in the beer gardens in munich.
at $14 a six pack!

bit of a let down really. Brilliant appearance but is a let down from there. Not much flavour or finish. Not worth seeking out.
