On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a brownish-amber color with a tan head. The aroma has a lot of cocoa notes, as well as some toffee from the malt. The flavor is similar. There is a lot of dry cocoa, as well as some dark fruit, toffee and caramel. The beer is a little bit sweeter than some other doppelbocks I have tried. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
