Light tasting, full bodied continental-style ale with German hop overtones. An excellent choice if you prefer a more traditional, smooth and mild tasting beer.

Draft sampler with a white head. Aroma of malts, yeast and grain. This one tasted funky to me, my least favorite of the brewery.

On tap at the brewpub in San Antonio. Appearance: Pours golden with a semi-durable head that leaves good lacing. Feel: Light body and near medium carbonation. A bit watery, Flavor: Good balance. Light-roasted grain flavor with a complementary touch of hops. Too mild. O: Certainly not a bad version, but this is a style I seldom like much. Still, better than their similar Texican.

The beer pours blonde with a good head. The aroma is a little thin, but displays both hops and malt. The taste is grainy though not as dry as a continental pils. The finish is spicy, but could be spicier, and pleasantly long. One of the better domestic pilsners I have drank.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of biscuit malt, as well as some yeast and lemon notes. The flavor is a little bit different. I get the same biscuit and lemon notes, but I also get some grain and banana notes. The banana is actually quite strong and was unexpected and doesn’t really go with the other notes. Creamy, medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. This tastes more like a hefeweizen blended with a pilsner.

Golden-clear in color with slight white head. Clean tasting with a strong body...a smooth pils.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Good head retention. Nice American style pils. Not very European at all. Crisp and clean finish. Good pilsner.

On draft at the brewpub in San Antonio. Pours a cloudy dark golden Ripe banana yellow with light golden yellow hues when held to a light source and a one finger frothy white head with decent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap. Slightly hoppy aroma with subtle bready yeast, pilsner malt, crisp light fruit notes, grass and straw. I’m picking up some apple and pear which along with the bready yeast notes provide an interesting balance in the nose. Surprisngly full bodied for the style but still extremely refreshing and quaffable. Very similar to the aroma with a nice touch of bready yeast adding complexity to the crisp light fruit notes and pilsner malt. Hints of apple and pear along with hints ob earthy grass and straw. I’m not the bggest fan of this style but I really enjoyed this beer.

Had as "Summer Pils" : pours a mid cloudy yellow .. . medium head . .lacing is prime time mr klein .. . a touch of the sweet side, a little soapy in the back .. but a good summer refresher .. why is there so much sand at the beach? i prefer brick ..

Very pale urine colored. Head left seom decent lace. Nice Saazy nose. Very thin. Dryness shows up very late. Except for the "water" element, it really isn’t that bad. Not.

Not what I expected. Good yellow-orange view with superb head. But a "model paint" scent and unusually acidic flavors detracted from this otherwise smooth, mouthy beer.
