Rated based on notes taken 29 Apr 2012 -- On tap at the brewpub, this is a very nice solid Pale ale. lownote (585) - Austin, Alabama, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Very frothy whit head with a copper color. Aroma is hops. Kind of piny? Taste is pretty bitter. Not super complex. Light body. Travlr (25556) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, thick white head. Aroma of floral pine. Taste is lightly bitter, fruity. OK. chinchill (5175) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2014
On tap at the brewpub in San Antonio where it was listed as Cinco Peso Pale at 5% ABV.
Appearance: Pours amber with a semi-durable head that leaves good lacing.
Feel: Near medium body and medium carbonation.
Flavor: Appropriately hoppy. Some malt flavor with a dominate input from hops. Moderately bold for style. .
O: good but not great. Shanebrews (294) - Virginia, USA - MAY 15, 2014
This pale ale is very aromatic displaying toffee, vanilla, and flowers. The body and bitterness are in perfect balance. It comes through with a long finish which is definitely Cascade. A solid brew, enjoyable.

Aroma: The aroma is light hops, a little citrus, with floral and caramel notes
Appearance: This beer pours a copper-orange color with a small head
Flavor: The taste is much the same with some light sweetness and light bitterness
Palate: The body is on the lighter side, with a clean finish on the mouth
There isn’t too much to say here. It is a fine APA, but nothing special. It is both on the simple side and on the light side.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a light golden with some light amber highlights, clear, average head with average retention. A one dimensional aroma from Cascade hops, typical grapefruit and orange-peel like aromas with a little light caramel malt in the background. Flavor like the hop aroma is also a bit one-dimensional, very light candy-like sweetness, some cracker-like malt notes, and a medium amount of bittering. Another example of a very simple pale ale recipe which has been executed fairly well. This beer has a clean finish however it either needs more finishing hops to carry it or it might have been an old beer. Weak overall. dnstone (3462) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Copper with whisps of off-white head. Mildly hoppy and balanced malt body, the hops definitely feature tho. Aroma is mildy hoppy. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 22, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours an orange-white color with a white head. The aroma is very well balanced. I get some caramel and toffee malt as well as some pine from the hops. The flavor is more of the same. The beer is very well balanced and the malt keeps the beer from being bitter, while still allowing some hop flavor to come through. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
