Does not have a strong smell but it smells slightly fruity. Pours a nice, cloudy golden color. The taste is similar to other light beers but I found it tastes a little smoother. Feels thin and watery. I like this a lot. Very good light beer. SudsMcDuff (8538) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Arrived at the table a bright yellow, not alot of foam at all .. . light kiwi, pineapple aromas .. . very refreshing .. . low spritz .. . just a simple enjoyable brew.. went well with some of the bigger beers .. . Neither rain, nor snow, nor gloom of night--nor cat with bad disposition--will stay this clown from his appointed rounds.. Maverick34 (3389) - New York, USA - OCT 26, 2010
Draught from blue star. Poured a cloudy gold. Some grass a hint of sweetness and a bit of hops. Clean and well done. Shanebrews (298) - Virginia, USA - JUN 25, 2014
I was skeptical of trying this beer, because Blue Star also brews a pilsner but they tell visitors that this is their lightest beer. The aroma is sort of grassy with discernible hops. The malt flavors are surprisingly sophisticated and the beer is well balanced. By no means heavy or hoppy but it has substance. It is a good beer for refreshing oneself from the Texas heat. cwsample (164) - Texas, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Golden yellow color, slightly hazy, with a thin white head. Smells sweet, possibly honey. Tastes sweet, more honey. This would be a great summer beer.
