Austbloke's rating

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20
Austbloke (10) - - SEP 1, 2005
A pale yellowish beer that reminds me of corona in its colour though not quite as pale. Quite a thin head that doesn’t last right to the end. Not an overly good smelling beer not that it smells bad it just doesn’t smell much at all. Still on the hole its not a bad tasting beer. And should be a nice refreshing drop in summer.

Pours clear golden color with small whit head. Grainy aromas, sweet taste. Light body, low carbonation. Short finish. Only the label is cool!

During a road trip, we decided to stop by a beershop and this one was recommend by the tenant and it ended up to be a quite taseful australian Beer.

Tap. I didn’t realise I this was a different beer to their pilsner until someone pointed it out to me. I suppose that’s why I’ve given them the same rating...

Danev76 (505) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 14, 2014
Light fruity aroma. Clear golden colour with poor head. Fruity light flavor with a long finish. Medium to high carbonation with light to medium body.

MRMedellin (337) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - APR 15, 2014
Clear golden beer, small white head, grain aromas, medium light body, soft malt aromas, low bitterness, pretty much what is expected from a macro lager

M_Sack (793) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 3, 2014
Bottle. Clear gold, bubbly, no head or lacing. A bit sweet with no particularly enjoyable malt profile and little bitterness. Decent mouthfeel for its style.

Muggus69 (2807) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2014
OLD NOTES JUL 12, 2004 Slight hop fruitiness to the aroma. Has a pale straw coloured body with alot of bubbles and a pretty foamy head. Light malt body with a bit of hop tang to it. Nothing special, but there’s worse lagers around.

Kita (2301) - Koper, SLOVENIA - FEB 16, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy and caramel malt, bread, grassy hops and citrus. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt, follows by citrus and grassy acidity, crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Better than majority Aussie lagers...

RichardGretton (4862) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2013
Bottle. Golden beer with a fizzy body and a head that soon disappears. The aroma is dry with some fruitiness, and the flavour is plainly dry with some yeastiness. Overall a plain lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
