Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma had notes of crisp hops and sweet grainy malts. Flavor was pretty basic with sweet malts at the beginning and crisp hops at the finish. It was a bit heavy on the carbonation. hopscotch (11161) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 30, 2010

After waiting over twenty minutes I was ready to leave without trying a single tap. I wish I had as the beers ranged from average at best to subpar and a mess. This one was an example of the most basic approach to crafting a beer - make it simple by playing it safe and dull.
Aroma / Appearance - Flat and grainy there is not much to the nose of this beer. Sweet corn and honey are bland. The appearance is not much better. A fizzy golden liquid sits on the table like a shot of apple juice.
Flavor / Palate - Watered down grains and then feeble hops hit the senses with a tentative nature. The crisp lemon finish is an improvement. However it cannot salvage a beer that is forgettable even before the second sip is finished.
Clear gold. Musky hops. A bit of corn in the aroma. There’s a chance this is getting a touch old. Not bad though. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2011
I had this as a part of a Blue Tractor sampler, which is by far the best sampler in Ann Arbor...This pours a light straw gold with a decent white head. The aroma and taste are both really nice. This is an easy to drink non skunky pilsner. This is the best American Pilsner I’ve had, certainly drink this.
