Tap @ CBF. Aroma has lots of bourbon, amaretto, vanilla, caramel, coconut, biscuits, really sweet and bourbony, but really nice. Taste has bourbon, vanilla, coconut, caramel, hints of dark fruits and hops. yespr (48895) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2011
Smooth bourbon and caramelish. Flavour is the same. Smooth caramelish. Bitter and lingering fruity finish. Ends dry and lingering fruity. Smooth fruity and light caramelish. HenrikSoegaard (14704) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2011

Brown with a beige head.
I love bourbon:)
Sweet, some hoppy bitter notes, a bit of charamel, but mostly just bourbon...
...a bit on the thin side, but hey...
...it’s bourbon. saxo (19569) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 27, 2011
Sample @ CBF. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are wood, vanilla, bourbon, nuts, caramel and hops. I hate barrels.

On tap. Pours a clear nutty brown with a amall off-white head. Sweet, thick Bourbon aroma with some sweet roast. Solid body, sweet burned caramel yet with a slightly tart edge. The Bourbon really comes rushin’ in again. Dry hoppiness in the finish. Delicious. 270511 Labove (427) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 28, 2011
Bevuta una mesata fa al 4:20, è una delle birre più particolari che io abbia mai assaggiato. Difficile immaginare una american strong ale così corposa e dal sapore così complesso. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2011

Draught @ Brasserie 4:20, Via Portuense 82, Roma, Italy.
Clear medium red amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, bourbon, licorice (lakridskonfekt), light to moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, bourbon - licorce (lakridskonfekt). ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is full of bourbon, with a little vanilla and roasted malt. Flavor is full of oaky bourbon, with a little bit of caramel and chocolate coming through. Not bad but a little too much bourbon for me. hopscotch (11411) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 21, 2009
Growler… Clear ruby ale with an orange tinge and very little head. Wow, smells like bourbon and brown ale - the barrel aging provides some mild vanilla notes - but mostly, I get bourbon. Full-bodied with tickling carbonation. Lots of bourbon in the flavor along with some nice (but more subtle) nutty, chocolaty notes. Lengthy, boozy, warm finish. I dig bourbon and I dig brown ale. Works for me. Kudos to TheCheeseMan for providing the growler!
