2/28/14. On tap at the brewpub. Light amber brown pour with a small khaki head. Mild aroma, faint maltiness and honey, grassiness, not too offensive - surprised. Tame flavor, unoffensive, lightly malty, honey, hints of sweetness. Not awful. b3shine (8878) - Indiana, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Draft to taster at BBC (abv is 4.4). Looks fine; a transparent pale burnt-orange with white lacing. Smells and tastes semi-sweet and spicy; almost saison-ish. Average on the palate. Not what I expected, but decent nonetheless. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Tap at 3rd & Main location., Cherry, raspberry, cranberry aroma. Clear copper with a small white head. Red berry flavor, honey malt, and light yeasty flavor. Light watery body. shrubber85 (11411) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Mixed berry malt aroma. Light copper with small head. Sweet berry and caramel malt flavor. Light bitter finish. Pretty tasty beer but on the light side. Brigadier (3690) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - FEB 13, 2012

Sampled at the downtown location near the new arena this was a solid sessionable beer. At just around 4.5% it isn’t heavy but does have enough depth to be more than fizzy alcoholic water. This is actually a BBC release not to avoid.
Aroma / Appearance - Rosy red and warm the body has a good amber tint. Nutty and sweet the nose is like a cheap bag of chocolate chips. Gentle hops sooth the palate and provide a frame of reference for the malts.
Flavor / Palate - Soft hops easily transition to a soft sweet finish. Light nuttiness tempts the palate after a short delay. This is a good lunch beer if you have other things to do and don’t want the bitter taste of resin in your throat afterwards.
