Growler thanks to tectactoe for sharing. Dark brown pour with no head. Aroma is just packed with espresso beans and just a hint of vanilla. Tastes like cold coffee. UPDATED: OCT 27, 2014 Growler: Black, inky with only a very slim, dark brown trim at the very edges. Not much head, super thin khaki ring. Smells like cold pressed, iced coffee. Serious. Slightly roasted coffee beans, light creamy sweetness underneath. Like your morning iced coffee. Taste is very similar with a light undertone of acridness & a touch of prune. Very slight. Otherwise it’s all cold coffee, all day. Coffee beans, light creaminess, hint of roast. Thin body with a semi-roasted coffee mouth coating. That commercial description is… rather old. Jerry Gnagy? It’s been awhile! Aroma: Coffee with some vanilla bean presence, light cocoa, light acidity. Appearance: Jet black with a bubbly mocha head. Flavor: Coffee-centric throughout; light cocoa and vanilla about the same level as nose. Palate: Light body, slick texture, flat carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Still fairly solid, but seemingly not at the level it once was.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa and light cola. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Opaque black - brown beer. Good tan head. Semi dry palate. Rich coffee - espresso. Mild minerals. Semi dry finish. Nice coffee but really needs something else - a bit more malt perhaps?
Bottle: The aroma consists of chocolate, light molasses, and mild roasted coffee. It pours a dark brown with some orange highlights and and a minimal beige head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of chocolate. There’s a touch of fruit in the middle. The finish has mild roasted coffee and a hint of vanilla. Pours mostly black with some deep red hues at the edges, strong light brown head, big bubbles indicate low carbonation. Aroma is deep freshly roasted coffee, super earthy, roasted malt. Taste is rich coffee, chocolate, hint of green hops, molasses, very roasted. Body is full and dense, very low carbonation, bitter coffee finish. Overall, very good. Thanks to drfabulous for this one in trade. Pours a dark stout brown with a tan head. Nose is roasted malts, earth, black coffee, and hints of dark chocolate. Flavor is similar- earth and black coffee up front, dark chocolate mid and slightly sweet coffee in the finish. Medium in body and pretty good coffee stout overall.
