Brewed in the style of English old ale/Winter Warmer, OSM is a long time favorite of BBC beer fans. It is a full bodied malt forward amber ale with just enough Northern Brewer and Golding hops to balance the malt.

502Che (999) - @, CAMBODIA - JAN 3, 2009
On tap at st. Matthews brewpub served in half pint flute. Not really offensive, but simply not balanced or very drinkable. There seems to be a total lack of direction/style.

Tmoney99 (14747) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2008
Draft at St. Matthews brewpub. Poured clear dark brown color with medium off-white fizzy head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium roasted malt aroma with a hoppy tone. Medium to full body with a smoth texture. Medium to heavy flavor of roasted malt with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting solid brew.

TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 22, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2007 Imperial pint at Maido - Pours dark amber with a mostly maintained wispy off-white head. Aroma of vinous English hops, spicy Fuggles and earthy malt. Taste is lightly sweet, moderately resinous with the low alpha English hops. Still some piney and citric flavors. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lush carbonation. Pretty easy drinking for 9% due to good attenuation.
