Tap. Cloudy yellow orange pour with a nice white head. Citrus, perfume, floral, fruits. Spicy carbonation. Medium crisp body. Very nice

Foxbush (2029) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Draft at the brewery Unsure which batch, I was told 5.8 % ABV. This is an excellent pilsner. The pils poured a clear gold with a small head and some lacing. The aroma was of caramel malt. There is a nice bitterness like many pale ales. The IBU at 50.5 may be the reason. The medium body pilsner had average carbonation. The finish was dry with some citrus and resin.

Nice and drinkable on a hot day before the ballgame. Good companion to the smothered fries with frankenbutter

Not a huge pilsener for my taste. Very astringent for style. Golden pour. Some booze and not much else here. Tap at brewpub.

SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - FEB 24, 2014
Biscuit cracker malt backing. Aroma reminds me of bottled pilsner urquel. A bit bigger than I would prefer at 5.8. A bit too much dough. Somewhat bitter wet and grassy herbal finish. Fine.

[ Tap ][ Bluejacket ][ 16oz ][ Pilsner Flute ][ $6 ][ 2/13/14 ]
>> Hazy, deeper orange pour (?). Good lace. Nose is squashy noble hops with celery seed and minerals. Taste is grassy, slight metallic Saaz bite, squashy noble hops, more celery piling on. Hints of honey wheat biscuit. It’s drinkable, but would suggest a recipe redo to get it a lot brighter, clear, and gold with more pronounced hop aroma and crisper malt body.

mansquito (6438) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Draft at Arsenal/Bluejacket: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is a few hints of spice, some grass, maybe some hay, and good ’ol pale malts. Taste is slightly bitter. Less so than a German pils, but more so than your standard bottled Czech one I would wager. Easy to drink and crisp.

jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Draft on January 10th at Bluejacket. Light faint hop flavor, but flavors hard to discern at times. Ok.

Iphonephan (6988) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JAN 3, 2014
On draft at Bluejacket DC. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Biscuit nose. Fruity hop flavors. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Bitter finish.

coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Draft at the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy, pale gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma and flavor were floral, spicy hops and crackers. Unfiltered is an interesting route -- adds some more complexity. Maybe it was just the power of suggestion, but I thought this was a bit yeastier and earthier. Spritzy carbonation. Solid pilsner.
