Sampled at Churchkey during CBC week. Pours a clear orange with tons of white head. Nose of a tripel, candy sugar, tropical fruit, clove, bubble gum. Flavor is overly sweet, cotton candy, sugar, spice, malt, banana. Full bodied, sweet finish. Seems a bit under attenuated. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 10, 2012
honey gold with a thin white head. Heavy honey and orange nose, sweet and lightly floral. Flavor is shows watery lemon ad orange peel, bit grassy but very plain, bit of rough grain and heat through the end. Slick, thin body hides nothing. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - AUG 7, 2012
On tap at Churchkey. Sample served in a snifter. Pours a clear yellow-golden color with a decent head and a bit of lacing. Nose is delicate and tame. Flavor is crisp. Light spice and a touch of grain. Slight floral character with mild herbs. Mild citrus. Light and dry. Very well made, but nothing out of the ordinary. I look forward to additional Bluejacket-only offerings in the future, as I liked this quite a bit more than the collaborations they’ve done. luttonm (6863) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Draft at Churchkey, DC. Juicy, textbook saison. Big aroma, hazed golden body. Alright, very tasty but not terribly interesting. Travlr (26300) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Draft at Churchkey. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma of slightly dusty straw. Taste is citrus and hay with scant funk and a bitter finish.

Tap at CK. Chill haze light golden with spotty white lace. Nose is estery pear and apple, Abbey Tripel notes. Taste is sweeter for style, spiced apple pie, crust. Palate is thicker, aerated. Very nice. Thick, sweeter. No cloying. No off flavors.
