Matts_Property (837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 15, 2011
Cask. Pours orange/brown with a thick creamy head. Aroma and flavour of malt and mushroom, with a subtle hop finish. Very smooth. Average for the style. Not very exciting.

berkshirejohn (6532) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2009
50cl bottle, bottle-conditioned, from Westholme Stores, Goring. Pale amber with a billowing cream head, leaving elegant lacing and light carbonation; musty hop aroma; clean sulphuric Burton style flavour with some fruity malts; but lacking finish.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2006
Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Tavern Northampton. A light amber coloured beer with lacing through the condition. A slightly fusty fruity malts aroma. The taste is a bit sulphuric and farty with some fusty fruits going on. Not all that good.

DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2006
Cask Stillage at the King’s Meadow, Reading 03/05/2003 Amber mid brown colour with some alcohol. Bitter malt finish.

Chase Bitter is well known not to the masses but to a few hundred people who like us are lucky enough to have it on tap. If you get the chance try it an amazing bitter!

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - APR 26, 2005
[Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Fruity aroma. Sweet malty and hoppy flavour. Soft mouthfeel.

Ungstrup (37889) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 10, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 16, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, while the flavor is malty and again with notes of caramel, peaches and over ripe fruit.

imdownthepub (14755) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2004
Cask Conditioned at Harbury Beer Festival ’04. Amber colour with little head. Caramel and malt dominate the flavour with a grainy note. Vanilla butter on the finish, reasonable without being exciting.

chriso (7569) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2004
Nice rich bronze colour. Restrained aroma. A bit of malt and a lemony hop edge in the flavour. Perfectly acceptable, but not inspiring. Cask, GBBF 2004,

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2004
[email protected] Slightly grapey sort of flavour, grainy malts, pretty soft, but very standard bitter. It was OK.
