500ml bottle conditioned: BB Apl 17. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 30th Oct 16. Obtained from some poncy ’Garden Centre’ craft outlet place in Staffordshire. Mahogany brown body, large and lasting beige head. Hedgerow fruits over a bitter, herbal base, coriander maybe? Certainly something added that’s not mentioned on the label. Liked it, quirky and different. Treacle toffee like sweetness mid-sip in with the herbal and fruity flavours. The finish is dry leaving a long hop bitter aftertaste, with that herbal twist noticeable right until the end. Bottle from some random Christmas stall in Lichfield. Brown beer with small head. Aroma is caramel, malts and some earth. Taste is caramel, treacle malts, some dry earth and hop bitterness. Decent. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2014 On cask at the congress, longton. Pours amber with a fast diminishing head. Promising start of dark fruits, grass finish. Thin and disappointing

30th July 2011>br>ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Hazy dark amber beer. Good pale tan head. Light very fruity palate. Tangy fruit - apple. Ok malt background. Fruity finish with some minerals. A little too much apple. planky84 (3366) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2011

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. It pours amber with a massive foamy white head and low carbonation. The nose is lots and lots of celery (off-putting to say the least) and some caramel. The taste is leather, wood, hay, grass, biscuit, cardboard and plastic, with a bitter-dry finish. Not for me. Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2011
Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Slightly cloudy, copper pour. Malty nose, some caramel hints. Sweetish flavor, some toffee and caramel. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Sugar in the finish with some toasted malts. Alright. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2011
