Brewed exclusively with Tasmanian pale malts, the straw colour of this fine textured, subtle lager gives a clear clue that the beer has an exceptionally smooth finish, leaving the palate highly refreshed. The beer is crisp, clean and dry, giving it a refreshing finish that is particularly suited to matching spicy food, rich in flavour.

Bottle. Pale beer with strong frothy head. The aroma is mainly sweet and slightly dry. The flavour is quite yeasty and lightly dry. Overall a very standard beer.

Bottle. Pale gold with a large foam. Aromas are citrus with lots of peppery notes. Buttery, soapy and floral. Flavours are light lemon with a smooth buttery character. Floral on the finish. Damp and light bodied.

Bottle -- I enjoy most Boags beers but... yikes! Insipid yellow with an abundant sudsy head with abundant sudsy lacing. Almost indiscernable aroma of bland sweetness. Watery palate. Flavour is more of the same. No bitterness, no complexity, nothing interesing but nothing really unpleasant. It might go down well on a hot day, but I think I’d rather have a lemonade. Apparently it’s fashionable. Yikes.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2007 A clear glass bottle. Very pale yellow in appearance with a white head and average carbonation. Light bodied and rather bland with no after taste. Poor.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2007 Like babies gripe water it makes you burp but that’s about it. Sickly pale yellow with a white head that rapidly disappears. High carbonation. Bland and rather tasteless with a lightly bitter, short finish.

Came in a clear bottle. Pale appearance and had virtually no taste.A compete waste of time.

Bottle. Had this one while at an anti semitic dinner in Sydney... didn’t know that was who would be talking to me across the table, but I kept my mouth shut somehow. Anyway, my Uncle Don and I bought this for the hosts and really enjoyed the fresh lemony taste. This is a perfect beer for hot, Australian weather. Don’t take this one too seriously... I loved it. It is what it is.

The chick from Boags told me this stuff is aimed at the Corona market, and it shows. I hate Corona..

I truly enjoyed this beer. Of course it is a bit lacking in complexity, especially in mouth feel and after taste. I stil found it refreshing. It is definately aimed at the stella, corona market and i think it kicks corona’s but! Try it with lime, this beer is really a nice change. I had it firstly at a thai restaurant on the beach at Terrigal NSW Australia and it fit the night like a glove. I like it.
