COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian Wheat Beer with an Asian flair. In designing this beer we were looking for a beer that would be refreshing with seafood, spicy food or a vegetarian meal. The light lemon flavor blends well with the flavors of garlic, chilies and cilantro.

Orange amberish pour. Hoppy nose with some citrus. Mild hint of coriander and orange peel in an otherwise empty beer. Rated 4/10/10

Good sized frothy bright white head of fine bubbles. Great carbonation keep a nice head on the brew. Light and citrusy aroma with some dusty grains and straw. Color is a crystal clear bright gold. Fizzy mouthfeel with a bit of citrusy hops, cereal grains and some yeast. Dry and parching mouthfeel. Light and crisp finish. A ok belgian.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks David Cohen. Clear yellow-ish golden. Aroma of wheat, lemon, orange and spices. Sweetish-spicy flavor with lemongrass, citrus, some yeast and candy notes. Light-medium body. Light and drinkable.

12 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pour is a slightly cloudy gold with two inches of fluffy white head. Nose is Belgian yeast, vegetables and spices. Taste is soap, yeast, cloves and a gingery finish. There is spent yeast floating around in this brew and I am not too crazy about it.

@ a tasting, thanks David, pours pale yellow slightly hazy with a small disappearing head, aroma of white wine, grain, lemon and some mushrooms, flavors of wheat, apple, bread and some cardboard, lemon aftertaste, quite watery for this style.

Bottle: a little yeasty, lemon grass, lemon peel, CO2, some acidity, kind of watery, mediocre.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light golden with a thinning head. Aroma is wit yeast, lemon zest, yeasty, doughy, phenolic spice herbs, and grassy. Flavor has some toastiness, big doughy wheat, light lemon, bubblegum, lemon-zest, coriander orange peel, mint, light metallic, old stale cascade citrus hops, herbal and spiced finish. Meh.

Decent brew, but lackluster, compared to the other fine beers that Brian Boak is creating. Still better than most other Belgian Witbiers I’ve had. A tad boring. even for the style.
