COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is one seriously hoppy beer! The amount of hops that are needed to make this beer is really quite ridiculous, but we were not going to settle for a low hop ale. We have sourced the best ingredients from Australia and New Zealand to craft this massive beer. Every drop is batch brewed according to a recipe that was perfected over years in our garage. Copper in colour, Alpha Queen is a full bodied pale ale, with a citrusy/flowery aroma & a complex, spicy palate, balanced by the sweetness of the Munich & Crystal malts.

Bottle pours hazy golden near clear with some light bone head and speckled lace. Galaxy aroma, citrus, grassy herbal notes from the dry hopping with a hint of caramel toffee. Light med body, med carbonation, good hop flavour, but not much else. Semi-unclean finish, grassy herbal dry hop character lingering. overall good session beer

330mL bottle from Slowbeer. Deep gold body, touch of haze, fluffy white head. Good nose - citrus rind, unripe melon & mango, toasty light caramel malt in support. Full bodied, some chewy malt bolstering things, moderate-to-high carbonation. Enjoying the sense of balance on the body - malt body isnt understated, holds its own with sweet biscuit & notes of pale caramel, counterbalanced by hop notes of woody/leafy spice, sweet citrus & unripe tropicals. Moderate bitterness, just enough I reckon. Solid APA - above the vast majority of Aussie APAs for sure
