COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is one seriously hoppy beer! The amount of hops that are needed to make this beer is really quite ridiculous, but we were not going to settle for a low hop ale. We have sourced the best ingredients from Australia and New Zealand to craft this massive beer. Every drop is batch brewed according to a recipe that was perfected over years in our garage. Copper in colour, Alpha Queen is a full bodied pale ale, with a citrusy/flowery aroma & a complex, spicy palate, balanced by the sweetness of the Munich & Crystal malts.

Bottle pours hazy golden near clear with some light bone head and speckled lace. Galaxy aroma, citrus, grassy herbal notes from the dry hopping with a hint of caramel toffee. Light med body, med carbonation, good hop flavour, but not much else. Semi-unclean finish, grassy herbal dry hop character lingering. overall good session beer

Schooner on tap at The Gunners Arms, Launceston. Pale yellow beer with thin white head. A few bubbles ascend. Aroma is light and fruity. Flat mouthfeel, earthy hops prominent. Finish is sharp, herbal and earthy with a bitter kick. Late sweetness too. Nice, solid APA.

330ml bottle. Clear amber with some floaties and nice pillowy white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas, with a little caramel and lightly toasted bread. Taste accurately reflects the aroma, with an assertive bitter that comes across a little harsh in the finish. Light to medium bodied with normal carbonation and greater than average acidity. Not bad but not nearly as good as some of Boatrockers other offerings.
