On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a pale/burnt malty bronzed/semi-burnt orange color. Thin white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Light lacing ran here and there.
The smell had a ton of pale burnt toasty crisp sweet malts up front, really coming through like an English pale ale but nothing close to any "soapiness" normally associated with the style.
The taste was basically the same with a smooth sweet malty feel sliding into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation rides super light and ends up creating a semi-creamy sort of effect rolling over my tongue.
Overall, yeah, this is not an APA, definitely leans towards the English styled pale ale with the malts really embracing the aroma, flavor and feel. I’d have again. AdamChandler (5150) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 28, 2014

Drank on tap (12 oz) at Benelux Brasserie Artisanale in Montreal, on June 11, 2011. Orange tea, small head. Caramel hop aroma, hints of peaches. Dry and sour citrus taste, quite hoppy, pleasant bitterness. Not exceptional but nice!

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a near clear amber with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma had a good amount of nuttiness with some light grain and a hint of earthy hops. Flavor began with sweet bread and some nuttiness and just a bit of light hop in the background.

Draft at the brewpub - Poured a darkish amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is medium of spicy hops and caramel malts. Flavor is nicely hoppy and medium bitter. Some malt backing up the hop bitterness. Good balance. Medium bitter finish. Good... TaktikMTL (7921) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 1, 2009
