Corps relativement dense, lgre acidit, peu sucre, carbonatation moyenne. Une brune qui sloigne des standards!

Alusmamuts (1700) - LATVIA - NOV 8, 2016
Dark brown with rich beige creamy head. Fruity aroma. Not bad taste, but probably this one sample is bit defective - something of old butter notes, while otherwise roasted grain and quite strong bitterness.

maekchu (3695) - Hirakata, JAPAN - NOV 7, 2016
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of prunes, stewed raisins, dark roast malt, lightly nutty, and yeasty. Dark reddish/brown color, and a good-sized frothy tan head, with sticky lace. Dark fruit, lightly phenolic, berries, raisin, all fairly sweet, along with moderate bitterness and some definite alcohol presence. Medium-heavy body. A bit over carbonated. Sweet and somewhat rich.
