Bottle, 0.33l. Clear ruby brown color with thin creamy tan-like head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of caramel, yeast and dried fruit. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, follows by toasted malt, yeasty and mild fruity, mouthfeel is warming, alcoholic and mild spicy, while finish is light bitter. Full body, thick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Classic Belgian strong ale, always good to get stoned with it..

Pours a clear reddish brown with a medium beige head and an aroma of milk chocolate, sweet malts, candy sugar, banana, whole grain bread, maple syrup, pear, dried apricots, raisins, artificial sweetness and salt. Bottle at home. Clear mahogany with some floaters. Good sized beige head. Light chocolate, sweet malts, brown sugar, dark bread, apple, plums, raisins, light marzipan and minerals. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and light watery and alcoholic finish. Quite nice, better than I expected.

In de kern niet slecht, maar vooral weinig spannend. Zacht zoet opvallend rijk aan koolzuur en gewoon een beetje saai.
