Bottle @ home. Pours clear deep red/brown with a white coke-like frothy head that dissipates really quick leaving no lacing. Aroma of tart cherries, vinegar, some vanilla and oak. Strong wonderful and puckering sour flavor of lemon juice and zest, with red apple peel. Tart cherries, grape and oak in the background. Light body and sticking carbonation. Finishes dry with oak, dried fruit and some vanilla lingering. jmanock (36) - - MAR 1, 2014
this is a great flanders red. a lot of acid bites through an oaky and almost slightly milky sweetness. it’s been great when i’ve had it on draft but the most recent bottle i had was quite a bit more tart and a little more acetic and less rounded out than on draft. may be that the kegs were more aged?? hackobock (4008) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2014

Excellent fruity aroma, and while the colour was highly appealing I wanted a bit more head. Flavour was quite tart and multifaceted. I sipped too slowly though, and did not enjoy the beer as much once it got near room temperature. Frode (383) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 7, 2014

Brown with a small tan head. Sour, with notes of dried fruit, cherry and even candy. Fizzy to the mouth, a bit on the thin side for my liking. More sour, medium sweetness, and acidic. Lingering taste.
