UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 On draft from Tornado in SF- Rated on 6-5-13. Pours dark red / orange with white head. Good lacing. Aroma is dark cherry, alcohol, vanilla. Sourest beer I?ve ever head, light sweet. Nice long, dry sour finish. This and the RR sours are the best I?ve had of the style. User277626 (112) - - SEP 2, 2013
Darker pour with a medium tan head. Strong sour cherry aroma, very fruity on the nose. Very sour taste, not at all unpleasant with complex flavors that are fruit forward. Carbonation sharp on the tongue. A challenging beer if you are not already familiar with or into sours.
Would I drink again? definitely.
Would I buy/order again? maybe. sours are still a mystery to me and I would order anything I’ve never tried before something I’ve already had. AgentSteve (1647) - SF Bay Area, California, USA - AUG 26, 2013
Dark brown pour with a thin cream colored head. Nice nose of cherries and malt. A bit sweet, but tart in the finish. Medium to full mouthfeel and a nice lasting finish. DoublEE (781) - South Euclid, Ohio, USA - AUG 26, 2013
his pours a slightly hazy dark brown with hints of read and a smaller fizzy short lived head. The smells are very tart and vinegary, sour cherries, brett, some barnyard funk and a hint of vanilla. The feel is medium, high carbonation. The taste is amazing, extremely tart / sour, almost overwhelming, but then you get a hint of sweet balance, some vanilla, plenty of sour cherries. czar (9616) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 20, 2013
pours clear light brown ruby with a very nice light beige head, excellent retention and beautiful lacing. cherries, spices, wood, tingling acetic and pepper, powdered candies - sourheads *TM, quite fruity and balsamic, bit of nuts, coca-cola, some earthy notes and dust. medium acidity - cherry-like citric acid - a tad disturbing, notes of acetic too. hint of sweetness. low carbonation, light body - oily, nice acidic and spicy-herbal-grassy finish. very nice!

330ml bottle. Pours a beautiful clear ruby with a one finger beige head. The nose has HUGE sour cherry notes, very light balsamic, and a faint earthiness. The taste is enormous, again with sour cherry notes, and pomegranate in the finish with some lovely carbonation. It’s hard to believe this is the product of wheat, and barley because it just flat out tastes like a fermented fruit beverage. I love it. SO, SO good. Bottle: Poured a red color ale with a large pink color foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of oak, sour cherries with tart notes is quite nice. Taste is a very drinkable mix of oak and sour cherries with some tart notes and very little acidic notes with light lingering sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. This si a solid version of a Flander red beer. Minderbinder (3469) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 19, 2013
