I love the flavor an mouth feel of this beer. Well balenced bitterness and creamy head make this the perfect beer for my evening relaxation. The widget in the can produces an experience almost as good as one pulled in my local pub.

One my favorite of the bitter cream ales. Wonderful carbonation makes for a smooth beer with a very pleasant flavor and aroma.

THE POUR! Love the widget cans. Beautiful head and smooth flavour and taste. Could imagine sitting in a pub all day with this.

Bods is a great pub ale, and I drink it whenever I can afford it. The cans are not bad, but Bods on tap is one of the best beers around.

I found this brew to be smooth and mellow. It seems to lack some "bite", but overall an OK drink.

It’s a bit bitter, fairly smooth, and a tad watery. I had mine from a can.

Great beer on tap. Nice, creamy head, very smooth to drink, light a lighter, less bitter Guiness.

Marc (486) - Yokosuka, JAPAN - NOV 14, 2002
original 8/24/2002; Pours with a tight creamy head much akin to Guiness. Very smooth (best at warmer tepaturs, to cold and comes across tasteless). Nicely constructed and very English (almost cask conditioned charactor) Slight tones of fermented fruit with a delicate hopping for a bitter nip in the finnish. (3.5) Rerate; Quite boring, aroma contains a pond water charactor. Very thin bodied and lacking in charactor.
