Orange colored. Hazy. Lively, soft and full bodied. Complex with some bitterness. Superb beer! cosmicpolly (27) - Bruges, BELGIUM - MAY 21, 2009
Bottle 33 cl. colour is golden orange with a lovely head. The beer started to foam heavily when pouring it out(the second time I experience this with a Bieken) and I had to pour it out into two glasses.
Beside this, the beer tasted wonderfull with notes of honey and yeast. Not too bitter, lovely sweetness (and yet not too sweet): a lovely combination of tastes. I really like this stuff! adamnowek (3169) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2015
Hazy peach in colour with a big creamy head. Aroma is a big bouquet of flowers. Taste is crisp, flowery, citrus, and a tinge of honey. vincentvega72 (844) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2015
Fruity, floral, and a nice balance of honied sweetness and bitterness. Orange color, fresh aroma of citrus and apricot.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2008 Bottle. Simply the best honey beer I have tasted. Honey gold in colour with a lacy white head, it knocks you for six with a sublime aroma of honey and burnt sugar, kept from oversweetness by peppery hop hints. On the tongue it’s smooth and rich but never cloying. Delightful stuff that I highly recommend.jcalbi (380) - Medford, New Jersey, USA - MAR 25, 2002
I should note that the two bottles I bought at GBBF 08 were both vile and not worth a 2.5 let alone my original score. What’s happened?
Somewhat of a rust color (although the lighting in the restaurant made it difficult to see) with a nice lemony aroma. A rather astringent hop bitterness yet quite flavorful and filling. Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 1, 2003
3 y.o. - blond-orange colour, fine creamy head, subtle flowery and honeyish aroma with a touch of alcohol, very smooth, creamy, moderate bitterness, long dry yeasty finish with strong notes of gingerbread
