An unclear brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of corriander and malt. The flavor is sweet corriander with notes of peaches and it has a very bitter end. A somewhat weird beer. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 25, 2007

(Bottle 33 cl) Cloudy, orangey golden with a pretty small head. Fruity, honeyish nose and a bit low in carbonation. Very full-bodied with the honey spilling into the flavour. Sweet indeed but not cloying and actually the (official) alcohol is surprisingly low considering the sugar - I bet it’s actually higher. A very well made artisanal brew. 081098 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2011

A 2005 bottle. Brown cloudy beer. Aged malt chocolatey caramel. Reasonable carbonation. Underlying minerals. Okay - probably past it’s best!
Cloudy brown color. The aroma is malty, with caramel and delicate roasted malt. Very good body structure; malt flavor, caramel, roasted malt, with sweetness and a hint of liquorice. It ends very balanced, with caramel and chocolate, good bitterness and some alcohol warmth. Very good. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2009
Sampled at Zythos 2009. Clear amber, lasting beige head. English bitter aroma, malt that has English characteristics especially on the caramel flavour. I thought that it was ok TBone (17580) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2012

Courtesy of bierkoning. Dark brown color, steady beige head. Starts slightly sour, later not so much, caramelly, spicey aroma with light coffee. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, toffeish, raisins, malty and some alcohol. Nice strong dessert beer, quite Belgian.
