Bottle thanx to Jerre. A clear reddish, a little brown colored beer, with almost no head. The head yoy see is off-white, some beige. The aroma of darl fruits with port, some roasted malt, with spices. The taste of dark fruits like, cherry, dates and prunes. Some notes of sour and a little alcohol. The aftertaste is some bitter with a little sweet. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2009
(Bottled, a gusher) Hazy golden with floating yeast particles and a largeish, bubbly and lightly lacy, lasting head. Crisp aroma of pale malt, gingery spiciness, juniper berries, lime fruitiness. Flavor is spicy and crisp, with a touch of burning alcohol, but all the different flavors really show up nicely. Medium body with soft carbonation, fresh and easy to drink. Really a positive surprise: complex, crisp, easily drinkable and refreshing. Nice! cgarvieuk (25742) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2012

Bottle, 8.5%. Mild spicy aroma, bit of wet hops. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, has a good spicy note and more of the wet hop note. Quite well-balanced and pleasant. JefVerstraete (3589) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JAN 13, 2014
Hazy yellow golden colour. A lot of white foam. Spicy aroma. Nose of honey and herbs, also fruity taste. Light sweet with some bitterness. Easy drinkable. JorisPPattyn (10060) - BELGIUM - JUL 3, 2006
Hazy brown-chestnut beer; small brownish head. Nice nose, simple but effective combination of alcohol(s) and hops. Burnt & roasted malts, but leaving space for still quite some restsugars. There’s some bitterness, leafy and slightly hoppy, but not really distinctive. Medium to well-bodied, some alcoholwarming. Not bad. For Boelens’ recent prestations, breathtakingly good, and certainly infection-free. BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 6, 2009
33cl, from the brewery, complex brew, not balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nice brew
