Muddy brown color, mostly vanishing head. Caramel, raisins and wort in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, raisins, light sour note, yeast. Thin vinegardish finish. Like strong Finnish kalja. Probably already few years old bottle.

Abio (1869) - BERMUDA - FEB 25, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2010 Bottle at home. I think i got a bad bottle, cause really, this was bad... Unclear liquid, big head. Very sour smell. Woody-sour taste. Really had to throw it away... I really hope it was a bad bottle, gonna try another one probably, and change my points if that one is better. Points now: 0.6... Update: Found a second bottle in my house. Seems I bought 2 of them some months ago... So had to try it at once. Its better, but not that much... Maybe also this bottle is bad... So will need to try it a third time, really hope its a big change then...

Brown with a lasting white head. Grainy malt aroma, with strong yeasty phenols. Sweet fruity and malty flavour with chocolate notes, and lots of yeast

RichardGretton (4755) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2009
Bottle. Thick looking light brown and golden beer. The aroma is nicely spiced and bitter, and the flavour is reasonably spiced, dry and bitter with a slightly aniseed like finish. Overall a nice Belgian ale.
