Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip. ABV 6% Quite clear orange golden body, tall white head, with good retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. Aroma of yeast, funk, peaches, sugar. Taste is sweet and malty at first, belgian yeast, flower notes, nice bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, average carbonation. Overall okay, honest belgian ale.

Bottle from Geers Bit of a gusher ( many of Boelens have this lately, some are even very wild gushing ! ) yet its not a constant thing by them ... Huge white foam over a clear blonde beer . Lucky for me , the foam fades rather fast . Smell is sweet malts, rather simple . Def. overcarbonated . I hope this is not how it should be ... Taste is watery, with a bitter backbone . a bit of dry , tasteless grainy character . Even though I really hope this is not the way its ment to taste, so far I can only conclude that this is an opposite of the quality they usually have ; an overcarbonated, tasteless gusher . First drainpour in a long time ...

Nevelig goudkleurig bier. Nauwelijks een schuimkraag. Erg bitter met licht zoete ondertonen. Hoppig, citrus en gist. Prikkelend co2.

Bottle (33 cl) from biersegourmet.be. A gusher that ends up hazy golden with large white head in the glass. Grainy malt, vegetative, slightly rural phenolic aromas, pehaps a slight brett infection. Light to medium bodied, high carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. Label looks like a kid’s drawing. Text on the back on the bottle seems to state that this is actually a witbeer. BBF 20/01/2014. Pours orange with a creamy white head. Nose is full citrus, touch dishwashing liquid like but not heavily, hoppy, some wheat, smells not badly, expected something terrible given the score on here. Taste is bitter floral, citrus, bitter hops, EU ones but agreeable, light medicinal / EU hops taste, bitter citrus peel, heavy esters, grass, quite bitter, herbal, touch booze. Something synthetic about it but not too heavy / quite weird but definitely not as bad as the score suggests here. Increases greatly once warmed up and you get quite used to it. It is quite nice actually. Maybe the recipe for this was recently improved or some issues fixed or something. Lots of carb, almost sparkling.

Slightly hazy bronze coloured body with a bit of a copper glow and a fast-dying just off-white head. As soon as bottle was cracked, tons of carbonation came spilling out for 30 seconds. Aroma of funky malt, tons of yeast, bread, alcohol, metal and some light fruits. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Pungent malt and alcohol flavours with a very strong bite at the end and some light yeast coming through. Aftertaste shows even more alcohol warmth, some light spice notes and the smallest amount of sweetness. Overall, a rather strong and pungent beer with the malt, alcohol and metal coming through way too much and not enough focus or complexity. Decent to try, but wish I would have packed a different beer. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Bier Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 02-January-2011 for €1,75 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the pond on 27-June-2013.

Hazy goldblond colored beer with large rocky white head and lots of carbonation. Fruity hopped aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is rather hoppy bitter, strong bitter. A bit over the edge mayby, though not bad.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2012
Bottle: 5,5% alc. A head which is medium sized, creamy colored and pretty vast in texture, on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, pine, resin, some orange peel, grains, sweet grains, corn, malts, something light stingy and a good floral touch. Taste hops, fruit, citrus, mango and red oranges, a hint of normal oranges, earth, malts, floral, hop herbs, hint of yeast, bread ish, dusty, some bitterness and a light warmth towards the aftertaste. Pretty nice crispy with a good hop fruit and yeast fruit character and a fine bitterness. Aftertaste is hop fruits, earthy, bitter and some yeasty fruit notes. Medium carbo, soft spicy mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Pretty nice and balanced brew!
