33cl can. Clear straw, white head. Aroma and taste of light malt, hay, apple juice. Finish is more sweet than bitter. Very mild overall.

33 cl can. Crystal clear straw color with white head. Aroma has clean malt, light cardboard but also a sharp alcohol sting. Taste starts malty with a light milk note, quite weird but not really off-putting. Light to medium body, quite smooth mouthfeel for a pils. Not as bad as expected, quite smooth and easy drinking.

Sampled from a bottle in (of all places!) the Jardin de Jade restaurant in Pudong, Shanghai with an excellent Chinese meal. A fairly standard lager with a golden colour and a good white mousse. Aroma is excellent with notes of biscuit. The taste is not as good - very bland with little bitterness. No off flavours and a pleasant, slightly sweet flavour.

On draught at Caf Hollander in Madison, WI, three times, most recently in early July 2016. Served in the proper glass as are all beers at this bar (nice!) Listed at 4.5% alcohol, but Id have to assume this is the correct beer pending being able to get more info from the bar. At any rate, what I had tasted much more like a real pils, so I suppose its also possible this is some different export version or something - or that Im just easy:). Anyway, it pours a light gold with a pretty decent fluffy head that fizzles away slowly...bready, biscuity aroma, a touch of herbal (thyme) character, pretty inviting...on the tongue its mostly moderately sweet biscuity malt, drying out to a reasonably snappy grassy finish...one of the pints I had showed a touch of buttery (diacetyl) unpleasantness on the nose, but it wasnt hugely problematic, and the other two were just fine. To my taste this comes off as a pretty solid pils, and Im glad to see it on the bars otherwise almost entirely Belgian-style menu.

The beer has a simple look. The color of the beer is a rather dark golden yellow. The beer is quite clear. Some lovely bubles are rising towards the top. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of rough white foam. It collapses quickly, to leave a minimal drape. The beer smells nice. There is a good sweet malty aroma. There is a rather mild hoppy bitterness in the smell. The taste has a strong hoppy bitterness. The malt flavor is less than the smell. This little contrast is nice. All in all, a great but simple lager beer.

Served straight from the aluminium bottle. A pale yellow coloured beer, just a metallic hop aroma. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is typical Euro fizz, metallic hop and syrupy malt. Bottle at Camping Porte des Vosges, Bulgnéville, France. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
