75 cl bottle as #96, brewed and bottled in April 2007. 5.3% alcohol (yet strangely lumped together with its stronger sister #27 on Ratebeer). Pours almost black with a frothy light brown head that ends up as mere bubbles along the sides. Great coffee and chocolate aroma with vanilla and dark berries. Chocolate and berris flavours with some espresso dryness towards the finish. Rather soft and with medium body. A very good mild from Denmark. Skinnyviking (9711) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2007
Bottle. Medium high creamy and lasting light brown head. Hazy dark brown, almost black, body. Weak but spicy barley malt aroma. Although it is pretty mild (hard to believe it is 6.5%) it does have some bitterness plus a bit of coffee. Low carbonation and a long sweet coffee aftertaste. Feels sort of creamy. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Brown colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Really great stuff. Heavy bitter flavor with nice chocolate-notes. Long powerfull bitter finish. Creamy palate. Truly a very good beer again from Bøgedal.
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2007 Bottle @ Bøgedal. Pours a dark brown, bordering on black. Aroma is mild with a weak hint of roasted malts mixed with some nice dried fruits. Flavour is round, has a nice roasted base that is accentuated by a chocolate exterior. It also has a slight sourness to its hops. An extremely nice beer.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Nr. 60. Pours a clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow. Handsome, light brown head leaving laces. Lightly burned malt aroma. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and a slightly burned edge. Some bitterness from the burned malt.
(Bottle 75 cl) As Nr. 27 Very dark mahogany with a warm, reddish tint and a creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose and some very fruity, lightly perfumy notes. Flavour is very malty, hard roasted malt, but still manages to be soft, smooth and accessible. Short, dry hoppy finish. Rather lovely. Total score 3.6 271105
