UPDATED: NOV 18, 2006 [Bøgedal nr. 48] A reddish brown beer with a huge fluffy brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, spices, and hints of wood. The flavor is quite sweet with strong notes of spiced caramel combined with desert wine, like You’d find in Italian deserts, in the end in turns more towards cocoa powder, and roasted malt, but still with the sweetness in the background. The mouthfeel is very smooth and quite vinous. The end is just a bit dry. Sampled in September 2006, around 7 months after bottling, so it has had time to mature. pubbe (493) - Højbjerg, DENMARK - APR 29, 2007
