On tap at Blue Monk. Some lace. Licorice and anise, more spicy in the sediment. Decently drinkable. Lots of chocolate malt, this is the tastiest part. Dark brown with a small head. Medium mouthful .A lighter version of an imperial stout. italianjohn (3139) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 14, 2012

Draft. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Fruity and roasty aroma, with candy sugar and a hint of bourbon. The flavor has roasted malts, a touch of ash, dark fruits, grains, and molasses. Unique in a very good way. I wish I could try all of these Bodegal beers. TBone (17545) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 14, 2012

Dark opaque brown color, small steady brown head. Berries, some malt vinegar in the nose. Medium-bodied. A bit tart, berryish (cranberries), some sweet notes, vinegar, coffee, caramel. Strange brew like Bogedals often are, but this is tasty.
some sour fruit like cherry with wood infused and a smooth body with some flowery pine, rummy, ivy and a waft of malt before a shortish finish that seems warming and a bit salty. nice reddish wood brown appearance.

Draft at the Birch. Reddish brown. Comes across with an almost sour attribute, a musty flavor to be sure, seemingly Flemish. After some masterpieces, this comes across as thin and not-quite-ish. Super potential that doesn’t come thru all the way. (#4465, 2/4/2012) alexsdad06 (10434) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma had caramel malts, herbal spices, fruits and cork. The flavor opens with caramel malts and ripe fruits. Midway I get some wood that becomes more like cork. The herbal spices remain through the finish. There is an earthy bitterness toward the finish. This was a strange beer, almost like a Fantome light. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2011
draft @ redlight redlight. Molasses on the nose with hints of spice. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Bitter chocolate upfront with molasses and caramel with hints of tangy fruit in the finish. Tmoney99 (14494) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 2, 2011
Bottle. Poured a clear reddish color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good aroma of sweet spice and cork. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate complex sweet finish of medium duration. Interesting soft brew.
