Bottle at Papsø. Clear red brown coloured with a small off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel, fruits, liquorice and dried fruits. Fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits and liquorice with notes of spices and mould. Dry spicy finish.

KimJohansen (10511) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - APR 1, 2010
Dark brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and mold. Flavour had mold, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate hints. Moldy again from this brewery. Something is clearly wrong I’m afraid.

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 1, 2010
Tasting at Papsø
The color is almost black; medium sized head. The aroma is light, some roasted malt and cheese rind. Good body structure, with caramel and chocolate flavor, a bit ashy but also reasonably sweet, with more coffee in the end. Good.

Ungstrup (38215) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 1, 2010

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 1, 2010
Bottle 75 cl. Pours a dark brown with a warm reddish hue and a creamy light brown head. Aroma is dark dried fruits, hard roasted malts and a whiff of fustiness. Solid body, same thing: hard roasted malts and dark dried fruits. Some malt bitterness. The fustiness returns in the finish. 010410
