Bottle, bought @ Bøgedal.stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JUN 18, 2012
Pours muddy black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has mild coffee, chocolate, softly roasted malts and classic earthy Bøgedal feel. Medium carbonation, nice light and dry mouthfeel. Some light graininess. Flavour is dry, lots of chocolate, light herbal notes, cocoa-powder, dry and bitter finish. Long, lingering bitter finish. Light astringency in the end. Nice.
Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2012, TAP1. Pours an unclear and brown beer with no head. The aroma is weak with malt and yeast. The flavor follows the nose with additional chocolate. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.
