Pours clear dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 75cl corked, as No 319. An almost clear one, light brown in color and with a small, light beige head. Weak aroma with some caramel maltyness. Lightly herbal too. The flavor is quite a lot more pronounced, with caramel, some herbal bitterness and a touch of dried fruits. Full body, quite dry. Soft carbonation. Being a Bøgedal brew, it’s quite disappointing, still it’s a decent beer I wouldn’t shy away from having again. 130215
