Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale nuts, light hoppy, grass, light to light light moderate yeasty, UK yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty, UK yeast, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
500ml bottle bought at the MicroBar and shared with Finn as our last beer after a splendid drinking week in Manchester and (one day) in York. Initial huge, frothy white head, mostly disappearing. Cloudy golden body. Caramel malty nose. Sweet caramel taste balanced by herbal hops emerging towards a straight bittersweet finish. Slightly above par for the style, maybe (hotel room, Manchester 27.01.2013). foxo82 (900) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2013

Crisp golden bitter, and an ale that is smooth with a very refreshing taste. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 9, 2012
On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma is a little sweet with caramel and yeast characters. Similar flavours. A little thin with mild carbonation and a dry finish. OK. AleManTom (195) - Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2011
Had a pint of this whilst browsing through Microbar’s bottles. A fruity beer, golden in colour, a small white head, its a pleasant session beer, its not outstanding but its enjoyable. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 10, 2011
