Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen. As ’Boggart Rum Porter’. I was drawn in by the goblin pump clip. Cola black with a small brown head, thick lacing. Aroma is chocolate and rum. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is molasses, rum, chocolate. Smooth and rounded up front, but gets a touch astringent over time and develops some annoying apple peel notes. Still decent though. liquidbread86 (171) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 17, 2015

Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A deep ruby brown colour with a foamy beige head. Aroma of plum, raisin, subtle dark rum, some chocolate and slightly nutty, like fruit & nut chocolate. Taste of raisin and other dark, dried fruits, dark rum, chocolate, subtle smoke, molasses and some coffee. Medium bodied and a smooth texture. A bittersweet roastiness in the finish with a dry, woody aftertaste. An interesting beer, fruity and malty with a subtle rum flavour.
