Bottle, Threshers, Aughton. Poured golden with a fading white head, some sediment activity apparent. Fragrant aroma with some fruitiness. Grassy hop, quite yeasty flavour with a dry bitter finish. Easy drinking in the sun. Maybe this has improved recently as it didn’t seem quite as bad as is painted here, or maybe it was just the novelty of drinking in the sun.... johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2012

Golden like the sun with a fine lacy white head. This beer has some bite to it. The bitter length certainly is a challenge. The first quarter of the beer goes down easily enough but progressively get harder and harder. Sort of like those crazy tracker pull racers you see on bazaar sports programmes. Do you know what I mean?
Bottle in Hotel room in Shefield... gold yellow ... ligth sour lemon ... light fruit little dry soft toffee . imdownthepub (15514) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2005
Cask Conditioned at The Cwellyn Arms, Rhyd Ddu, Gwynedd, Wales. Pale gold with thin head. Dry caramel toffee flavour, quite unusual fo a golden ale. Dry, bitter finish. A trange wooden pump clip to this one, it was hard to tell who made it. Probably be a collectors piece in years to come. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2009
Bottle 50cl.Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 1, 2008
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet to light light heavy and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
My hand pulled half pint has got only a single white patch on the surface of a clear, golden body. Fruity and a bit oily aroma. Mellow oranges and dried fruits in flavour mixed with malts complemented by a short bitter tail (Bricklayers Arms, Putney 18.03.2008)
