Fukito's rating

3.6
   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
Fukito (1064) - Santiago, - FEB 11, 2017
Clear, bright golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma is citric with some piney resin. Flavor is same citric, pine hop with a hint of light caramel malt. Clear medium mouthfeel with a nice and gentle bitter aftertaste. Perfectly correct american IPA, reminds me a lot of Goose IPA...

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2017 es una cerveza sin mucha personalidad o carácter, una IPA sin muchas aspiraciones.

12oz bottle in Zona T, pours a mostly clear oramge with some lacing white head. Nose is OK, soap, pith, orange, citrus balm. Flavor... not so much, stale grist, citrus, paper, wet paper. Finishes a touch tannic and overly bitter.

Ampolla. Cervesa daurat fosc i cristalina amb escuma blanca abundant, duradora i amb bon encaix. Aromes afruitats que recorden al pomelo. Amargor elegant. Molt bona.

BBC, Bogota. Thick, lingering cream on typical orange body. Fantastic aroma hops, light pine and citrus. Kind of amazing to find this here. But the body doesn’t live up to that hype, though it is solid. Lots of bitter hop, slightly astringent pine, cleaning solution. Creamier body than I’d like. Seems there are some proper hops in play here, which is outstanding. Sure tastes like Citra. A bit grassy, and puckering bitter finish. By far the most assertive beer in their standard lineup. This is impressive in a way.

Mostly just bittering hops here without huge ipa vibe. Golden pour with ok head. Some orange peel. Decent malt backbone. Bottle from Clocktower pub in Cartagena at sunset.

dwyerpg (6454) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - DEC 29, 2014
Some nice hops in the aroma and the first sip, which is quite aggressive. After that, it goes downhill. A bit metallic almost with some high carbonation as well. This score is probably mostly due to finally finding hops in Colombia.
