Moravius (1291) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - DEC 23, 2016

TAR (2765) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUL 5, 2016
Bottle consumed in Nov. 2015, best by Mar. 2016. Pale blonde. Broken, fine-bubbled white foam. Clean and airy, but simple, aroma of lemon, grass, toasted crackers and a touch of nectar. Light in body. Foamy carbonation. Mild soapy notes are negated by an appealing, albeit muted, blend of bright lemon and nectar. Basic pils malt character of uncured hay dries things out, but doesn’t offer much in terms of textural richness. Sprucelike hop whispers mark the lean finish along with a cleansing wash of minerals, lemon and grassy malt. Not especially dynamic, but it’s a solid pils. Someone should encourage the brewer to ramp up the hops (and malt, for that matter), because the cleanliness here would serve the adjustments well.

Beerhunter111 (20482) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 15, 2016
50cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of pale malt, mild floral hops. Taste of mild bitter hops, floral bitterness, mild sweet malty aftertaste.

3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2015
Bottle best by March 2016. Clear gold with a short white head of average retention and some lacing. Extremely quiet aroma is mineral-forward and lightly hoppy, smelling faintly of herbs and lemon peel with mostly transparent malt (saltine cracker?). Light bodied, off-dry, effervescent, lightly starchy and saccharine-like, strongly minerallic with notes of calcium and granite and concrete. It’s mostly clean but just so limited in ingredient expression, I feel like if it were well-hopped and had rich malt we would have something good on our hands. Nicely effervescent and fluffy, albeit bracing in the mouth like seltzer water, but with the light malt sweetness it works. Just needs more of everything.

Erzengel (8763) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 1, 2014
** Old Rating. 0,5l crown-top-bottle, 2007. Recht süßlich-brotiges Bier. Malzige Töne, ganz leicht herb, nicht sonderlich tief. Würzig-süßlich mit getreidigem Touch im Nachgeschmack.

3.2
Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2011
It’s light-golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of malt, straw, bread and a little celluloses. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, flower, and the finish is dry and refreshing.

Etwas trocken. Langweiliges Pils ohne Höhen. 8/6/5/5/7/5

Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2011
Geruch hopfig-süßlich, zitronig leicht blumig und etwas Eisen. Antrunk herb mit Zitronensprenkeln. Mitte heuig-bitter. Sehr würzig-bitter im Abgang, beinahe brüsk. Trinkbar, aber auf Dauer anstrengend.Test vom 26.2.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche

2.6
Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2011
Smells fruity and spicy, some slightly hop aromas come through. It starts grainy and spicy. The aftertaste is delicious hoppy slightly bitter. In the middle part, there sprawls a slight sparkling wine aroma. Untypical Pils, but still very palatable!

3.8
shrubber85 (11408) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 9, 2011
Bottle. Apple, hay and barley malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with large white head and mild effervescence. Mildly sweet barley malt, hay and mild herbal hops bitterness. Nice body. Very tasty.
