From a bottle in Mexico. This actually wasn’t too bad. A bit maltier than most beers in Mexico.

From a bottle. Not anywhere near as bad as I’d expected, crisp, clean and drinkable.

12 oz. bottle. Pours clear golden, small white head. Aroma was malt, caramel, bread. Taste was light malt, light flavor.

[backlog] 24-03-16 // bottle at La Parilla Mexican Grill, Cancun, Mexico. Clear yellow. Typical lager. Pretty tasteless. Drink cold on hot days and its okay.

Golden yellow pour with small white head. Aroma of grain, corn, malts and caramel. Taste of faint caramel, grains, corn and sweet malts. Light bodied, medium carbonation, miniscule hop finish. Drinkable only over 100F outside and beer under 40F!

12 oz bottle at a Mexican restaurant. I remember seeing a version of this in the DR so it’s fun to compare. Nice to see a pale lager without any skunk. Grains with some soft spice. Definitely a, throw a lime in and have 10 of these, beers. A preferred Mexican lager for me.

Better than some of the regular crappy Mexican lagers like corona and sol. Some chemical astringency that passes for bitterness at least. Bottle in D.F.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2016 Pale clear pour with almost no head. Faint sweet grain aroma & taste that’s a little reminiscent of a Kolsch ale. Good crisp pale lager.

ComradeK (1236) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 18, 2016
355ml bottle. I can’t comment on the pour, as I had it from the bottle. There is a grainy, almost white chocolate feel to the aroma, as well as some light grassy hops. Light grass and leafy hops up front give way to quite a sweet malt body, quite possibly with a few adjuncts in there. Again the white chocolate feel is present, leading into a lightly hoppy finish. A curiously flavoured beer for a lager. Drinkable, but not too exciting.
