When I was living in Mexico, it was one of my favourite beer "apart of some local beers". It is a typical light pils not too bad. The colour is clear yellow, light foam and regular carbonation. There is a nice mix of malt and some hops. It is a decent beer, unfortunately heineken bought it. In South America and in Mexico like in Switzerland are two or three big groups eating the business, fortunately that some new brewers make betters products but for Mexican and Peruvian people are too expensive.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Bottle from Cafe Azteca, Lawrence MA. Appearance is clear light brown with small head and mild sparkle. Aroma is mild bready malts. Taste is as nose--straightforward pleasant mild malty sweetness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and average to lively carbonation. Overall, not bad in the context of mild beers you would have at a Mexican restaurant. On par with Dos Equis Amber and slightly below Negra Modelo but above others.

I like this brew on hot Mexican day fishing. Clear orange great carbonation. Pretty malty for light Mexican brew. Really flavorful for a light Mexican lager as well.

Ah Mexico. Home of the taco, burrito and Bohemia clasica. A fine golden pilsner. You don’t even need to jam the lime down the bottles throat to drink this stuff, it tastes pretty good! It also tastes good with the lime though, so just be prepared for a treat either way you drink it.

Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Faint malt aroma. Taste is light bodied with a slight sweet corn flavor.

This Mexican beer is sold in a small plump bottle which I actually think is a nice shape, nice label and a dainty gold collar. Unfortunately foaming is not available and the smell is very limited, smells only of little citrus and hops. The taste is initially marked by citrus and in the beginning it taste really quite good. Later, the taste is a little watery with hop flavor. It has virtually no fullness and no special traits. I can not think of anything as it could be recommended for. Boring, boring, boring. Unfortunately!
