Aggie80 (818) - Michigan, USA - JUL 11, 2004
Golden color with a little head and not much lacing. Served with good Mexican foot it is a reasonable enough, but there are better ones. Flavors were pretty weak all the way around, not one I will buy again.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 5, 2004
(Bottle) Pours a golden color with a descent sized white head. Has flavors of malt and hops. Light hoppy aroma. One of the better common Mexican beers available.

mohawksin (187) - Nebraska, USA - JUN 20, 2004
Has a grassiness not noticed in other Mexican beers. After that though, it’s about the same as any other Mexican brew. Flat and sweet.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2004
Pale flat looking lager with a malty nose, and a very sweet slightly strawberry flavour. Overall a poor tasting beer.

robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 14, 2004
Had this at O.C. Along with other Mexian beers....this is right up there with a bud fest...i must repent for my sins!

HopsOrDie (687) - New Lenox, Illinois, USA - JUN 7, 2004
A little more spicy than the standard Mexican lager, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. Flavor and aroma is in line with the other Mexican beers.

burgerlicious (308) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUN 4, 2004
an average beer. uhhh. i guess i was expecting too much from it. it’s really more of just a typical tecate...

SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 2, 2004
I love this mexican beer! When I first had it, the six pack that I purchased was so old that there were actual chunks of things in the bottom of each bottle. Later, I drank this outdoors in open-air bar patios in Tijuana at fifty cents a pop. Way fresher and way more appropriate. Some beers you just imprint with fond memories even if they may be mediocre on their own.

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - MAY 21, 2004
A beer that goes great with the food from its native country. This beer does not offer anything more than a food pairing. Grassy and slightly acidic. Very well balanced, with some nice malty notes. Nothing special though.

skaughty (652) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 14, 2004
Smells grassy - not pure, though something resembling a hop miught have snuck in there. Sppearance was of light straw, with a pitiful fizziness. However, the taste was more substantial than expected - though the beer wasn’t that distinct from liquid corn tortillas. Goes down smoothly with nothing unpleasant or interesting in the mouthfeel.
