Better than many other mexican lagers and did a fine job of washing down my chimichanga. muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 31, 2003
Bottled. Very clear, light body, almost no head. Nearly non-existent corn nose. Sweet, refreshing flavor, some hops present surprisingly, and more body than the appearance would have suggested. Not bad, not good, not Corona thank God.

Fairly crisp, refreshing, goes well with greasy tortilla chips. Neither detracts or adds to a spicy Mexican meal. High quality for what it is. Kaya161 (1139) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 29, 2003
Flowery hop aroma and decent crisp, hop flavour as well. Easily the best MExican pils. P-tor44 (886) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JAN 29, 2003
kaya seemed to like this calling it floral. all I can say is adjuncty, minimally hopped and i guess its better then corona

I will call it refreshing, but that is about it. I like it more than most commercial domestics. HighGravity (926) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 27, 2003
Mild hop nose. The palate is very light with a great deal of off flavors caused by pasteurization. My guess is 35% corn/rice. Better than Corona. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - JAN 27, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2003 Very surprised that this rates lower than dos equis. It is corona with out needing the lime. Disappointing head is compensated by nice pinapple flavor and dry finish. The best Mexico has given me thus far. dolemike1 (1288) - Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 27, 2003
Drinking this was quite possibly one of the most blatant attempts at poisoning myself ever, besides retrying that god awful Bigfoot crap again. spicedad2 (78) - Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 16, 2003
A good tasting Mexican beer. This is a full flavored german-style lager. It's a great tasting beer by itself. No lime required.
