Clear golden with a medium off white head. Malty aroma with grassy hops and caramel hints. Flavour had grassy hops, malt and piney notes. Finished dry and bitter. Clean with a high drinkability. Nice one.

Bottle from just outside the brewery in Trebon. A deep golden color moving towards brown. Decent head, but not too full. Fruity aroma, and you can sense the hops. There is almost a dry bubblegum aroma under there as well, or maybe melon. It’s a unique aroma and I can’t put my finger right on it. Medium malt flavor, with a lot of fruit, some grass and just a touch of sweetness. Very good hops that more than balance it well, but do not overpower. Medium body, but a bit fuller than the usual for this type. Lingering sweetness mixed with strong hop bitterness and again a touch of fruit and grassiness in the finish. This is a very interesting beer. If anything, it could use a touch more malt, but it is very good indeed.

Tap @ Cafe Svejk, Copenhagen. Pours clear pale yellow with a small egg white head and lacings. Floral and grassy nose and flavor. A bit of grain and butter otherwise grassy and crisp flavor. Smooth palate. Very drinkable..

Yellow with a fragmented head. Grassy hops dominate with further notes of honey and hay. The flavour is refreshing with a decent malt profile and medium bitterness.

0,5 l bottle, bought in a Tesco, Brno.
Poured clear golden with a minimal white head that diminishes quickly, disappeares fully. Looks a little deadbeat... Unbalanced, weird aroma of corn and some malt, unpleasant dead yeast cells, some grassy hop. Weak body, watery texture, minimal malt background, and the weird feeling again about yeast and grassy hop. I am very disappointed about this brewery...

UPDATED: APR 10, 2017 (Bottle 0,5l) (11/20/2009) Malty and a bit weird aroma. Clear golden color. Minimal white head. Unpleasant fizzy. Light bitter-sweet. Light bitter end. A bit disappointment, I remember it was better beer. (Maybe really bad batch... I will try it later, hope it will be better.) (

(Bottle 0,5l) (05/06/2013) Light musty aroma. Clear golden color. Quickly done white head. Light sweet, light bitter. Dry, bitter finish. Significantly better, but still nothing special. (

(Bottle 0,5l from Tesco) (10.4.2017)
Aroma: Grainy, dusty, light sweet malty.
Appearance: Clear golden color. Minimal white head.
Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter.
Palate: Medium body. Light bitter finish.
Overall: Ok, avarage. (

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!)
Dark golden coloured, almost no head, grainy honey nose. Malty, grainy, caramel/honey and some hops with notes of coffee in the finish. Infected bottle??? Probably.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2011 The (promised) rerate. This one’s heavy’s! Poured a golden body, small thiick white heead. Strange, bit herbal grainy nose. Random light grainy taste, vaguely fruity. A pale lager, that’s it..
Original review
Bottle purchased at some potraviny in Telč, shared with ogivlado. Poured a dark ochre/golden colour with no head. Light grainy nose, some honey too. Grainy honeyish taste, not too great, a bit hoppy near the end, bit stale and might be off, not being too special to begin with.... hmmm.... now I read sirPino’s rate and I wonder if the brewery decided to market a stunningly bad batch. I thought it might’ve gone bad at the store but this two bottles showing similar bad effect purchased at different places at roughly the same time.... probably didn’t. Will rerate it (gave it slightly higher notes while rating it in my book so it’s slightly overrated here) once but still shame on the brewery for putting such an obviously bad batch into circulation.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12 P, got it in Trinec, Czech Republic.
Appearance: Pours unhealthy hazy orangy golden, dull and dead body without carbonation, head is greyish white, drothy, no lacing, initially small, rapidly decreasing to minimal, looks like macro sud.
Aroma: Some stale and old sweaty socks, however, to my relief very weak, practically nothing, total disappointment and failur.
Flavour: Old sweaty socks, very stale and dead body of the beer, no noble hoppyness, no nice malty base sweetness instead you’ve got some harsh artificial sweetener leaving nasty nad parched aftertaste, a total failure pretending to be a noble micro product, finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation on palate is flat, finish feel is flat, dull with unpleasant, flat, dull aftertaste, very boring beer, pointless, the failure of the year and to my surprise and disappointment against the grain.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, butter notes, moderate hoppy, citrus, capers notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090721]
